Leaving Day for the Martin's

A line up is a line up is a line up but a Sunday at Auckland International Airport seemed relatively quiet.



After checking through their bags it was up to the Spinnaker Bar to sip Lemon, Lime and Sodas while waiting for that time for Nick and Ita to head through Security and on board for Melbourne.








Then it was a 'final look back goodbye' with a little camera shake

The sad thing is, Nick and Ita had a long wait at Auckland Airport after we saw them off through Security. As Nick said later, "We got here safely, eventually! Qantas cock-ups meant that flight departed nearly 4 hours late and could not take any luggage! They offered little in the way of explanation and nothing in the way of compensation. (We think that the rubber band had broken !)
Our luggage was delivered by courier 24 hours and 4 telephone calls later. At least it was intact."
